Discovering hopeful new ways to relate to Jesus after Mormonism
Who we are
We are a team of Bible-believing men and women who love Jesus. Many of us have spent decades walking alongside individuals and families who were formerly part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Faith Reimagined was formed in response to a need that has been identified across the hundreds of churches throughout the Intermountain West region. When former members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints find a welcome reception in an Evangelical Christian church, they often encounter a set of unique challenges that will need to be addressed on their faith journey.
Our commitment is to honor this faith journey and to be a safe landing place for any former LDS person who is seeking to follow Jesus.
What we offer
Faith Reimagined is a 12 week series that provides biblically rooted, culturally informed materials to help individuals transition from Mormonism into authentic Christian discipleship.
Faith Reimagined equips you to lead a biblically grounded small-group experience for former Latter-day Saints—without requiring specialized training or years of ministry background. Our 12-week structure, combined with video testimony, and guided discussion prompts give you everything you need to create a safe, low-pressure environment where participants can process questions, share stories, and explore a relationship with Jesus at their own pace. You’ll receive clear weekly outlines, practical host tips, and optional coaching resources to help you navigate sensitive topics with confidence and grace.
Whether you’re a pastor, ministry leader, or simply someone with a heart to walk alongside others, Faith Reimagined gives you a simple, reliable framework to support people in their transition toward a vibrant, Christ-centered faith.
Our Vision
Faith Reimagined exists to help former Latter-day Saints discover hopeful new ways to transition into a thriving relationship with Jesus, grounded in biblical confidence, discernment, and the freedom of the gospel.
Written by and for people who have walked this path, Faith Reimagined honors the emotional, social, and intellectual complexity of leaving Mormonism and gently walks with people as they rebuild trust, reconnect in healthy community, and form a new identity in Christ.

We have no ties to a denomination but rather use fundamental biblical principles. In all of our content, we hold to the truth that 'the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword' (Hebrews 4:12), and we are committed to guiding participants back to Jesus and the life-changing power of His Word. We believe there is no mess too big, no person too far gone, and no hurt so deep that Jesus Christ cannot address it. While our curriculum is designed to create space to process the common challenges former LDS members face, we will always point back to Jesus, the true cornerstone of our faith (Isaiah 28:16).
-
The enemy loves when people feel isolated and alone on their faith journey. Though each faith journey is unique, countless others are experiencing similar emotions and questions. Our small groups are designed to be a safe, welcoming space where we can navigate these waters together, reminding participants that 'where two or three gather in [Jesus’] name, there [He is] with them' (Matthew 18:20). We believe in the power of community, knowing that 'two are better than one' and that a supportive fellowship is 'not easily broken' (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). As part of this journey, we encourage participants to engage with a local church community that can disciple them so that they can grow and disciple others.
-
Everything in our content is designed to create a safe space where people can be transparent, respected, accepted, and loved, no matter what baggage they may carry. We are called to 'clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,' bearing with each other in love and forgiveness, just as the Lord has forgiven us (Colossians 3:12-14). With God, nothing is wasted; He is able to use all of us and our broken stories to shape us into who He created us to be, reflecting a love that 'always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres' (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
Our Values
-
Faith Reimagined was created specifically for the person who is transitioning out of an LDS worldview who is actively seeking a relationship and deeper understanding of Jesus Christ. Participants will land on various places on the spectrum from having left the LDS church recently to being out for a handful of years. This is for the person navigating difficult emotions associated with the LDS church and their experience there, working through damaged or broken relationships, having issues finding christ-based community, wrestling with who to trust when it comes to religion and religious organizations, or even asking “what is my identity now that I am no longer LDS?”
-
In short, ideally not. We believe in the deep relationships that can form when people with shared experience are in a safe environment to help bear one another’s burdens and encourage one another along the way. Faith Reimagined was intentionally crafted for a relational small group environment consisting of 4-12 people. We recognize that due to geographical constraints this may not be available to all people, so secondarily we believe that Faith Reimagined can be utilized in a 1-on-1 relationship with a trusted mentor.
-
No. While we recognize stark differences between the doctrines of traditional Christian theology and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Faith Reimagined functions to help those who are already in some way detached from the LDS Church and are searching for a relationship with God outside of the LDS faith.
-
We hope to have facilitators who are Spiritually mature in their faith & actively pursuing a profound relationship with Jesus. Being a former member of the LDS faith is not required but we believe there are no better guides than those who have walked that journey already. As long as you are a kind, active listener, & you have a good grasp on small group dynamics, we believe we provide everything else you need to be an effective Faith Reimagined facilitator.
-
Yes! We’ve made significant efforts to create an open, welcoming, and inclusive environment at Faith Reimagined, where individuals can embark on a faith journey together. For many who have left the LDS faith, it holds immense significance in their lives and experiences. We firmly commit to honoring this aspect of their journey as they seek a relationship with Jesus. We firmly believe that God will utilize all aspects of your past, present, and future for your benefit and His glory. Faith Reimagined is not a theological debate group or a “lets bash the LDS church group.” Instead, it’s a safe space where people can come as they are, in order receive what God may have for them.
-
Faith Reimagined is not built to be an apologetics tool and the content is not written in a way that would attempt to convince or argue that God is real. The idea that the God of the Bible exists is a foundational position that we operate from. When people transition out of the LDS church, we recognize that an atheistic view can be a default position taken as a person deals with what they now believe. We encourage Lead Facilitators to have an open discussion with their potential participants to see where they are at on their journey and if Faith Reimagined is the most helpful tool for their next step.
